This is seriously twisted.
I don't know if this is fake or not but it is truly fucked up. Mentalist Derren Brown wants to instill real fear into people, not the type of fright you get from watching horror movies. So he designs this "arcade" zombie shooter that can put people into a catatonic trance by flashing lights. Once the person is zoned out, he moves them to a building that is mocked up just like the game.
Watch and see what happens to the unwitting victim of this experiment.

Dubious- but LOVE the idea I'm trying to research this clip, as I LOVE the idea. My wife thinks it's a total fake, but then I wonder why go to ALL that expense and trouble jsut to have a shill actor pretend he's hypnotized and freaked out later? Seems there woudl be easier ways to make a hoax, but maybe not. Some questions I'd liek to see answered about how the catatonic person coudl stand on his own without falling, etc. And how they got hte "squibs" (explosive fake blood packets) to explode on the "real" zombies at the right time when he shot with his fake gun... things liek that seem too hard to choreograph, and make ti seem a bit dubious... but I've also seen plenty of people clicking liek chickens on stage -s o the guy seems geniunely freaked out, or he's a great at just acting "normal."
