Because Hollywood is out of ideas, they are remaking The Bionic Woman. The original was a spin-off of the The Six Million Dollar Man. The preview has shown some potential. They have Katee Sackhoff from the new Battlestar Galactica to try and capture the sci-fi/geek audience to get them to watch at least one episode. Plus, you can never really go wrong with women kicking ass. (See Buffy the Vampire Slayer or the first season of Dark Angel.)
However, a show still needs good writing or else it won't last long. (See the second season of Dark Angel.) If the dialogue in the scene they show at the end of this preview is any indication of the quality of the show's writing, then I don't see this series lasting very long.
