Engineers have developed a robot that can help dental students learn their craft. The Simroid supposedly can "feel" pain and react accordingly by vocalizing an "ouch" and by frowning.

Together they could bring us one step closer to androids who say things like, "My CPU is a neural net processor, a learning computer."
