Reg Kehoe And His Marimba Queens

An amazing short by an "orchestra" of vibraphone players.

This is worth watching just for the guy with the mad upright bass skills.

This video clip is part of the Prelinger archives. The Prelinger archives are a collection of public domain films that are a snapshot of American culture from the mid 20th century onwards. Within the archives you sometimes find a really cool film, such as Reg Kehoe and his Marimba Queens.

But within the Prelinger archives, you will also find some nuggets of unintentional comedy gold because some of the older films (circa 1940s to 1950s) seem so absurd by today's standards. One such film is "Duck and Cover," where a cartoon turtle shows children how to survive a nuclear explosion.

Check out the Prelinger archives and see what it has to offer.
