Stars Are Blind
There has been a noticeable lack of snark in my posts lately so I aim to rectify that with this post. It could also be my insomnia keeping me up until 3:30 in the morning fueling my need to vent cynicism. Anyways...
Paris Hilton put out a new video, minus the infra-red lens this time. It's a music video for her song, "Stars Are Blind." After hearing this song, I'm guessing the stars wished they were deaf as well so they wouldn't have to see or hear this video.
Everything about the video seems derivative. Paris Hilton sounds like a poor man's Gwen Stefani by being all "breathy." The video, shot by Chris Applebaum, is partially done in black and white ripping off the style that Herb Ritts did so well with Madonna's "Cherish" and Janet Jackson's "Love Will Never Do" videos.
